Janice Tufte lives in Seattle WA and is active local-nationally in health systems improvement research. Having served as a Patient Co-Investigator on the PCORI funded Learning to Integrate Neighborhoods with Clinical Care LINCC GHRI/ KPWHRI project kick started Janice's interest in health research, after having initiated six local projects addressing the social determinents of health and disparities through awareness with small simple solutions. Janice is now involved with Healthcare for the Homeless Seattle-King County as well as quality measurement priority identification, development, and endorsement at a national level. She serves on a national Guidelines panel as a Public member. Serving as a PCORI Ambassador has helped to provide opportunities for deeper involvement in the areas of Health Literacy, panel presentations, Patient partnerships in Patient Centered Outcomes Research. Janice also serves on Seattle University's School of Theology and Ministry's Ecumenical and Interreligous Advisory Council, and presents on Islam in the greater Puget Sound region.
