Bio
Janice Tufte lives in Seattle WA and is active local-nationally in health systems improvement research. Having served as a Patient Co-Investigator on the PCORI funded Learning to Integrate Neighborhoods with Clinical Care LINCC GHRI/ KPWHRI project kick started Janice's interest in health research, after having initiated six local projects addressing the social determinents of health and disparities through awareness with small simple solutions. \
Janice is currently involved with Healthcare for the Homeless Seattle-King County, Metro KC Committees and Title XIX WA State Advisory Committee.
Serves on Choosing Wisely, KP PFCC, NQF, CAPS, Aging Intitative Advisory Committees and is a Consumer Scholar for the National Center at Camden Coalition.
Janice is serving on the NQF MAP Coordinating Committee and MACRA PCMP through 23/24 working in quality measurement, (development and or endorsement)
She serves on a national Clinical Guidelines Committee panel as a Public member.
Serving as a PCORI Ambassador has catalyzed opportunities for deeper involvement in the areas of Health Literacy, panel presentations, authorship opportunities, patient partnerships in Patient Centered Outcomes Research.
Janice also serves on Seattle University's Center for Religous Wisdom and World Affairs Community Adisory Council, and presents on Islam in the greater Puget Sound region.
